Leroy and Margaret Jones Endowed Scholarship
In 2008, Roy L. and Michaelle B. Jones established the Leroy and Margaret Jones Endowed Scholarship; and presented the plan to the "Family" at the 2009 Leroy and Margaret Jones Family Reunion in Mississippi. A representative from the Jackson State University Development Office was there to commemorate the occasion with the presentation of a mock check.
The Leroy and Margaret Jones Endowed Scholarship Fund gives scholarship money to deserving undergraduate students from Rankin, Hinds, and Madison Counties along with the Greater Cincinnati, Ohio area, home of the JSU Cincinnati Alumni Chapter. The current goal is to build up the fund to $250,000 in order to be a sustainable scholarship fund for years to come.
Please join us in our fight to remove the financial barrier to higher education in honor of Leroy & Margaret Jones. We encourage you to consider a recurring contribution toward our legacy fund. No matter how large or small, every donation is appreciated!
